There’s likely a major push for this, especially as other whistleblowers prepare to come forward. As Jeremy Corbell aptly put it, this information is coming out either the easy way or the hard way. I suspect there’s a frantic internal shuffle happening right now, with insiders rushing to secure their positions, akin to grabbing a life raft to avoid being left on a sinking ship.

Good to see. I don’t think they’ll ever be able to fully prevent harassment and retaliation against whistleblowers. Groups committing acts that warrant whistle blowing typically don’t mind breaking more rules to cover it up. However, I think whistleblowers will be more comfortable coming forward knowing that the government as a whole intends to support and protect them as best as they can. It’ll always be a tough decision to speak out against a powerful group, but this should help make the decision easier.

I agree with what you are saying. It seems like the more whistleblowers to come foward, the more that will follow. They will feel emboldened by the ones who came before.
