Should be a fairly normal day for me today, some hedge-trimming and so on in the garden on Saturday and then my SO is arranging a mystery trip for Sunday. It’s been postponed twice so far and I have no idea what it is.
Fridays are supposed to be game dev days, so I’m pushing aside the crushing anxiety of the backlog of other tasks and hoping they just sort of figure themselves out. This game jam isn’t gonna complete itself, after all!
Husband is in for surgery soon so we’re mostly-isolating atm as don’t want to risk him coming down with anything and having to cancel. Which means this weekend we’ll be staying in, watching films, playing (him) / making (me) games, and of course eating cake.
Could be a lot more exciting, but could definitely be worse!
Took a COVID test this morning after a colleague I worked with pretty closely came down with it last week. Negative. For now.
Uhoh, good luck
1989 Batman at the cinema. It’s Batman day this weekend for some reason.
It is? I have inexplicably failed to prepare.
I was supposed to try out Baldur’s Gate 3 today, but I never got round to it. I’ll have to save it for next week.
If you’re playing it next week you might want to start installing it now!
Source: been going for an hour and it’s not even halfway done 😩
I think I already installed it (still new to steam, I only got the game because someone bought it for me). But thanks for the heads up. I’ll check tonight after work to be sure it’s ready for Monday!
By the way, did you mean install or download? The download took 4 hours, but installing it only took about 10 mins and most of that was updating my graphics drivers.
Oh well, nice one! We have the ps5 version so download and install was basically the same thing. Took bloody yonks!
Finishing projects at work that are meant to be done by this week, and then going home to play more Starfield and later watching a few more episodes of Avatar: The Last Airbender with my partner before going to bed.
Need to think of meals for the weekend as our fridge is running a bit dry now… so many jars though!
