We just did this yesterday. Not a damn thing has changed from the app when it was for reddit.

So then what’s the point? Why is that your standard?

      This is not standard.

I’m in Europe, and I’ve spent years selecting permissions when I visit any site or app for the first time. The majority of sites and apps give you a one-click “Reject All” option. The only ones that don’t are click bait journalism sites etc who rely on traffic more than loyalty.

Boost’s list of “unavoidable” or “legitimate” options is not normal for us. It’s not normal for us to have so little say in who profits from our usage and how.

Then delete the app and go away and let the rest of the people here enjoy the thing that they like.

Maybe you should go and create boost_safespace community? Or is different opinion not allowed here?

Like many of us I had it set up to auto-download. I was excited for something different.

          And yet.

So I repeat the question, what’s the point?

When is the bar too low?

This was discussed here a day or two ago - you can check.

Boost either shows ads or you should purchase it.

To use the ads library boost must show the consent dialog according to Google requirements.
