Always saying login failed.
I’m using a password manager, to the username and password is correct.

I just stumbled upon this post and gave it a go. If it helps, I can log in from lemmy.nz just fine.

Maybe, but it is a bit unusual. I presume other apps and the website work fine.
Maybe try uninstalling and reinstalling?
