This headline isn’t passing the smell test.
Yeah, the latest news is that the government approved an emergency resolution to close AJ’s offices, but there’s nothing out in the public about it actually having happened yet.
I see, the headline is just premature. Al Jazera facilities have not been closed, but the gov’t is actively laying the legal groundwork to do so and it may happen in the coming weeks.
