It’s insane people still pretend that in a country where the majority of inhabitants are literal children that stuff like this does anything productive instead of just radicalizing more and more people to take up arms against Israel.
Imagine not being able to leave a densely populated area that keeps getting bombed and everyone keeps telling you your attackers are the victim.
It would make anyone feel crazy and make irrational choices.

TBF given that the only times Palestinians got any concessions out of Israel (not that they got much) were after liberal usage of terror (even the Oslo accords came after the very much not nonviolent first intifada), one has to wonder whether these choices are entirely irrational.
