You‘re so right. Google hasnt got anything to do near this. We all know what they’re gonna use this for, right? They’re gonna find pathways that make looking away from ads impossible or hardwire the ads into our brains.

I don’t think you know how needed they really are. They have the talent, the hardware, and money. That said, we need to regulate because they also have one thing working against all else, greed.
How much would they spend on this if they’re not allowed to apply their greed to the end result? They want ROI.
People that have that type of skill set don’t get it by only chasing money, in guess some might, but genuine interest is more likely imo
