I was wondering why McLaren stuck with the hards but that reasoning makes sense. Still not sure why they went with the hards in the first place though. The race was well over half finished and they could have completed it on softs. In the end I don’t think it changed anything but curious nonetheless.

Verstappen has gotten boring. He’s a great driver, no doubt, with a great car. It will be interesting to see how many races they can win this year.

The real race excitement is for the other two podium spots. Norris and Piastri both had great races. It would have been nice to see Piastri get that third place finish.

All in all it was an enjoyable race and Verstappen had to work a little for it this time.

I have installed Debian 12 for a stable base and added flatpak for when I want a more current release of some apps.

So far I am quite happy with it.
