Steam reviews should be a good place to read about it. Despite what people may say about steam reviews (jokes and brigading), it’s still a good source of info.
It’s the radical moderators and developers of Lemmy that censor and delete posts and comments that fit their narrative. They are trying to foster authoritarian views and perpetuating lies (like tiananmen square didn’t happen, or Ukraine invaded russia). It’s a big mess that causes problems when people voice opposing views or even sourced material and get censored and banned. Using Lemmy feels like we have to accept their cooked views. I’m hoping there will be a fork or new federation project that doesn’t have baggage. Many moved here because of the reddit bs, and now there is extreme communism baggage.
I just installed this today, and saw all the communications from google apps are going to Canada, which surprised me.
I see this on all platforms, even steam. Only the negative reviews are culled and labelled ‘review bombing’ by the corpos.
Corporations have more rights than the people, and rich people hide behind their companies. So, without looking it up, I’m guessing trump business.
It might be a miscalculation of orbital body models, which has happened before. Urbain Le Verrier was able to predict Neptune’s existence. Then he tried to predict a planet between Mercury and the Sun, because the current Newtonian physics wasn’t lining up to observations, a similar situation to how Neptune was found. Then Einstein’s work on gravity modeled the orbital bodies more accurately, ending the debate if there was another planet closer to the sun than Mercury. Just a different food-for-thought point of view, as I don’t know what the answer is obviously.
I’m a tea drinker and have been looking for a good pot that’s easy to clean for ages. I have hard water, which leaves a lot of residue behind. And I would like to avoid chinese manufacturing. Currently I just boil water in a small sauce pot on the stove, which doesn’t have the ability to stop heating at certain temps needed for certain loose leaf teas.
ToS and the like are legal documents that people/customers ‘sign’ or agree to before using a service or product, usually agreed or signed AFTER a purchase has been made. Arbitration causes in these documents mean that you agree to not sue the company for any reason, like a class action lawsuit. Basically if you feel like you have been scammed or taken advantage of by that company, you cannot sue for damages. ToS are not the law though and can be superceded by legal means, like a lawsuit ironically. Correct me if I’m not 100% correct, as I’m not a lawyer and this is just my understanding of this.
Also not a free trial if you have to give them your credit information beforehand. That’s the red flag that prevents me from proceeding with free trials.
