Are you trying to pressure people to donate? Not cool man.

Wait this is new? It’s been around since I was born (which is not as recently as y’all might think). Maybe it’s just the country I live in.
While this man is brave and all (I wouldn’t have burnt myself), what does this achieve? I doubt authorities care a lot. And it’s not like visibility over this situation isn’t there.
I have tried it tbh. It’s not as bad as people make it out to be, I was just making a joke.
It’s just much more resource heavy than those headless Linux servers. Maybe windows server can be headless too, but I haven’t looked into it much
Windows Server 2016.
Nah just joking, Ubuntu Server 23.10
For most people covid isn’t that big a deal anymore, assuming you had all your vaccinations.
I mean, it’s not that hard to just don’t. If anyone asks, just say I don’t use Facebook. And if they bitch, then so be it.
If they share you Facebook links, click it if you must, but don’t log in. If you can’t watch the video because you don’t log in, then too bad.
If it’s for work, then create a work account if absolutely necessary, but don’t use it for your personal shit.
It’s really that easy.
It’s kinda sad that when men have problems, they’re just expected to solve it themselves.
Words like “self-imposed” are just thrown around to handwave their issues away. But no one asks why the men think this way. Are women completely blameless?
How would women react if men were to say the lack of female representation in STEM is “self-imposed” and that women should just stop not applying for those jobs because of fear. It’s unrealistic right?
Also there are people who continued to use IE before it got changed to Edge.
Where do you live? I live in Singapore and am definitely underpaid. Companies hire the cheaper workers from other Asian countries.
Software engineers/developers. They come up with software that everyone uses daily. But they work in shitty conditions, get kinda low pay, and because they’re not as visible as writers and actors, are not able to hold a strike for kickbacks when their software is used or is still in use.
They basically built the modern world, but are exploited so that the ones who own the company get rich off their backs.
Fair enough. But their products can be flashed with open spurce firmware, like klipper and marlin. That should remove any spying that would happen.
Of course, if you’re worried about spying, don’t get the closed source stuff like bambu or whatever, but there are those where you can just flash a new firmware on it.
Genuinely, why do y’all hate China printers? I mean, I’m not a big fan of China and their policies as well, but this “I don’t want China products” seems mildly racist to me. I wanna know y’all’s point of view.
Thanks! Would you have any general advice on how to check or fix the extruder?
I did just place them on the bed after plucking them out. Sorry for the bad pictures, I’m no good at taking them haha. Here’s what print looks like before I pluck it off the bed:
I realise there is a lot of stringing going on, but I’m not sure how to fix it. Online says I need to adjust retraction settings, and I’m still messing around with that. I’ve currently got retraction distance at 8.5mm and retraction speed at 40.0mm/s.
Are these holes also caused potentally by bad extruder gears?
Thanks for the help, I really appreciate it! I’m trying to fix up an old printer that my friend doesn’t want anymore, and it’s my first 3D printer, so there’s a lot of basics I don’t know.
Thanks for the advice! I tried listening to it, but I haven’t heard anything strange (I think). There’s no clicking sounds or snapping sounds, just the whir of the motors. My PSU fan is making a clicking noise, but I think it’s because it’s spoiling, I might replace it soon.
Thank you for the reply!
I’m using an old Tevo Tornado (gotten from a friend), printing at 60mm/s, and Cura 5.4.0.
I’ve checked to make sure that the filament diameter is 1.75mm.
I seem to have gotten better results after reducing the speed to about 30mm/s, and increasing the temperature to about 215c - 220c. I understand 220 is a bit too hot? But I assumed that my filament was causing some issues, because printing at 215 seemed to have the same issue.
I really hate how it’s “frowned upon” to take a few months to rest and recuperate after working for a number of years. I’m usually honest about why there’s a 1–2-month gap.
If they don’t take me because of this, then so be it, probably not a good company to work for.
Wait you guys have free refills at McDonald’s?
