I know what Oracle is and what they do, never thought about what kind of asshole their founder was, though. I guess most big tech companies were either founded by assholes or bought by assholes (or both)…
There are many animals that are pretty cool; beavers, iguanas, capybaras, kanaroos, crows etc. I find it really hard to pick a favourite.
I’d really like to have a pet iguana one day, though.
Double-clicking the back button usually works for me on Firefox
I wonder if they’re related to Matt Booty
They made them in Mexico until 2011, but only for the domestic market.
I was referring to the term old-timer pretty much meaning classic car in German.
The bugs were just a bonus^^ And yes, bugs are quite cool, especially the car variety.
Hehe, oldtimers…
Australia.
Stunning nature, nice people, killer animals; what’s not to love?
Eh. Just looks like any other oversized SUV to me. I miss when cars had distinct designs…
Ignoring the obvious things here; how would Biden re-entering nominations count as “stealing back the nomination”. I thought Kamala supposedly stole it from him? Did both of them steal it from Trump?
They sure know a lot when it comes to the second amendment…
Well, FedEx doesn’t even really exist over here so eh
Can I just say how shitty UPS is with pick ups? Every time I have to RMA something through Dell’s support they would schedule a delivery of the replacement part and a pick up of the defective one through UPS, right? Not once did UPS actually show up to pick up the parts.
Even when I manually schedule a pick up with them they just don’t show up; they sent an confirmation email saying that they did, but the part is still where I placed it for pick up. And when I email UPS to tell them they just repeat what the confirmation email said.
Who the fuck is J.D. Vance?
Not being completely turned off dating in general by past experiences…
Budget phones aren’t really worth it when you can get a flagship from 3 years ago (with most likely better specs) for about the same price IMO. Sure, updates are a problem but if you’re willing to tinker around a bit it’s doable.
Oof, that sounds really bad… I haven’t had any issues with it so far in the ~3 years I’ve been using it (I had it on my old T430s for the longest time); don’t even know how I first found out about it, I think it got a lot of coverage when it first came out.
I’m not trying to discredit your comment, far from it, neither am I really recommending Manjaro; I know that there are better alternatives but I’m a lazy bum, so I just installed the first distro that came to mind (kinda embarrassing considering how meticulously I planed every other aspect of my switch-over to Linux). Thanks for your comment, though.
Do you have any tips for me as far as staying on Manjaro is concerned?
