  • My work had something like this to detect drug usage on premises for a while (it was and is a problem still) and it costed like 30k capital and 2-3 opex a year. We had it for like a year and only took it out because there were too many false flags and security didn’t and doesn’t have the staff to be chasing down every alert anyway.

It was neat that on paper it was able to detect different drugs, heroin, weed, meth all flagged different alerts with 2 of those contacting police when detected. Unfortunately it was only like 70% accurate and we didn’t/don’t have enough security staff to use it properly so it’s gone now.

  • You certainly can if you spend any decent amount of time in one game’s directory or stick to streamers in the couple thousand viewers at most. Basically niche games or being a regular to a small streamer mean you can make friends on the platform or at least recognize people.

I’ve been on the platform since 2012ish and have been a part of some great communities there, I also enjoy the massive streams of day Lirik or Summit1G but those I watch if I’m not wanting to talk to others since the chat is 10000 mph

  • Not just Nevada, any state that legalizes VLTs soon becomes plagued by VLTs (slots by any other name are still slots) put into every existing building. Gas stations, bars, strip clubs, convenience stores, etc, everyone gets slots/VLTs. Bonus is that any empty building gets purchased and filled with them since nothing but gambling survives despite the surroundings. Illinois is my main example here as my home state, I can’t spit without hitting a slot machine it’s ridiculous

Walmart is also a family owned business, that term means nothing in regards to company size and org structure. In another comment OP says there are several leadership tiers including managers, directors, and VPs, those org charts don’t exist in mom&pop health clinics. If OP is a one man IT department then this company is grossly mismanaged and is being negligent with their data by hiring a singular kid straight of college to be their IT department, if he’s one of many like they should be then OP is just a new-hire that needs to pump the brakes and learn to follow direction
