I convinced my family and friends to download signal like 2 years ago, we talked there couple of times and they moved back to WhatsApp. Briar is also really but since you need to create an account locally on the device there’s less chance regular people move to it. (most people don’t care so much about their privacy. Source: they tell me to shutup when I talk about it. Jk… Sort of…).
Love it. Too bad people don’t want to try new things…

Tried it for a couple of weeks and went back to DDG. It’s way better for programming and other geekie stuff imo.
I had no idea, thanks.
NoScript also prevents clickjacking, redirection attack (if I remember correctly, also I’m not sure that it’s the correct term), and few more things that I can’t remember right now… From what I’ve heard one can replace them both with uMatrix, haven’t tried it though.
uBlock origin + NoScript. Imo.
It’s a good idea, but [URLCheck] (https://www.f-droid.org/en/packages/com.trianguloy.urlchecker/) is also good for any other app.
What about mycroft?
