Maybe. But i dont need to have caffeine in order to need multiple alarms to wake up.
I think it’s more out of habit.
Like i said, caffeine makes me sleepy. Thats common amongst people with ADHD.
And i can drink coffee and or sugary caffinated drinks right before i go to bed and be asleep in 10 minutes ad sleep like a rock, undisturbable by anything short of 4 alarms up to 12 hours later.
Sugar and caffeine actually make me sleepy.
But thats not how it is for everyone else.
With chocolate milk i have always just added a small amount of boiling water to the powder and swished it round the cup. not with a spoon, just hold the cup at the top and swing it round in small circles and use centrifugal force to mix it (obviously dont swing it too hard or it will leave yo cup and burn your hand) then add the cold milk to the top. Never had clumps.
But I will try this.
So what you are saying is, it’s just as Risc-E
So it is!
I guess. Skeleton crew, someone to see you in, someone to serve you drinks and snacks and someone to work the projector. bring a data pen with your videos on it and give to them to plug in and play.
Or log into your streaming servitheand hook your device up to the projector.
It would need all kinda of restrictions and protections for the cinemas but its not like that couldn’t be worked out in a room somewhere. Private parties would be great.
If it became lucrative then pay more staff and capitalise on it.
So they need another revenue stream. If i am forced to pay high tickey proces and high snack prices, im going to wait for the film to come out on a streaming platform and watch it then.
Lots of people do the same. Its the reason most films ive been tonsee recently are in empty cinemas where i basivally get a private screening.
The industry at large is failing and has been for a while.
In rhe UK (at least the part i live in), they dont stop you from bringing your own food in. I think that staff know that no one wants to pay the crazy prices for the food they sell. If i could buy the snacks they sell for the prices that the shops across the road are selling them, then i wouldn’t need to go to the shops across the road. Maybe thats not possible for them, maybe they need to find a new revenue stream.
Margerine is made from unsaturated fats, though. So it’s not the same. Is it?
I remember living in a world where i was shocked when companies started asking for credit card details when activating a free trial.
I’m signing up for a free trial. I shouldn’t need to even give you my name. Just put a 30-day limit on the key i activate the software with. If i want to buy it, then i can decide that during the trial.
The fact that we are at a point where the anger is directed to the part AFTER i have given all my details and credit card info is so painful to see.
Its a bit misleading. Black clothes will absorb the heat from the sun and your body and then the clothes will cool via convection. So the wind blowing through the clothes takes the heat away. White will reflect the heat from the sun away and your body back towards you.
Im sure theres some debate and probably way more to it but i have always felt more comfortable in the heat than other people and i wear darker clothes the majority of the time. If that anecdote bares any weight.
This was a really interesting read. I like the theory. How do you account for someone who dies suddenly. Like if they are blown to pieces in a war or just accidentally. Do those people just not get this “last hoorah”?
God damn furrys! :p
I guess if you werent savvy enough to do it you could follow a guide. My dad does alot of tech stuff by following guides but if it ever goes wrong he cant fix it becaise he doesnt know what he did, he just follows the steps.
I have to fix it instead.
Dumb argument, its all relative.
Of course there are people who have it worse. But that doesnt invalidate the frustrations of people who dont. A 1st world problem isnt less valid than a third world poblem.
In the 1st world, you often need a reliable internet connection to do almost everything. From ordering food to applying for a job. Even some work is only offered remotely and therefore it is a requirement.
If you dont have the internet in a 1st world country you will fall behind and lokely end up poor and struggling.
In some third world countires, assume these same issues sont exist.
I dunno, 3 megabits works out to about 0.375 megabytes per second. So its slow.
That seems like a limiter has been applied. Probably on the router. I dont think there are internet providers out there still offering adsl speeds like this. You would need around 5Mbps to watch HD on netflix.
Might be worth finding the actual router and getting the log in details from the sticker on the bottom/back and logging in to see if you can disable it.
I believe so, yes.
There are a few things they could try. You can get biodegradable bottles, you could use glass or metal, there are cardboard bottles and silicon and even ceramic.
You could also change the way we buy these drinks from bottles we buy and throw away to containers we keep and refill from dispensers. The infrastructure isn’t there for it, but with the amount of money the major drinks companies make its not unreasonable to assume they could afford to implement it.
And arguing that these alternatives are not practical is a wasted effort because an alternative IS needed to stop mass plastic waste and protect the environment so we need to get used to the bar being set at a different height.
