These people love killing dogs and bears and they hate cats so I’m guessing they are not nice people.

To anyone with severe allergies: lol jk
This is how I found out!
I helped to fund that land purchase! Get off my lawn!
A bidet.
But seriously - you and others already mentioned the quesadillas, so I’ll add pintos and cheese as a side.
It’s just beans and cheese and their sauce in a little bowl but it’s good.
Also, do they still have meximelts? Can’t remember if they did away with them or not. Oh and gorditas.
In the demo, former SpaceX intern and startup cofounder Ben Nowack is shown using an app outside in the dark that seems to control the location of the company’s sunlight-reflecting mirrors. As he selects the spot where he stands, the area around him is suddenly illuminated as if by stadium lights.
LMAO of course it’s a SpaceX intern’s idea.
This headline is everything.
We can’t even have liquor in grocery stores here.
My parents were Canadian.
Thank you, friend. Thank you for understanding.
They couldn’t handle all the seamen. (I am sorry)
FWIW, I’m seeing a lot of Twilight reflection going on right now that’s not unlike the Star Wars prequel reflection from a few years ago. It’s definitely being revisited.
Monkey Money or Monkey Mart? Something like that?
There are 9-10 billion people on this planet.
Among those people, you have countless personal preference based on everything from what they expect to what makes them comfortable based on past experience.
There are also 10% or so with ADHD and other things, changing it up even more.
So run all of that through a computer showing you a majority of the likely outcomes, and there you go. There’s no way that your style, your choice of content, your presentation, how you present the material, etc, will please everyone because it’s impossible to do.
She actually never took any candy, it just wasn’t her thing. She’s always been a very scared and paranoid person who honestly believed any moral panic/hoax that she either saw on TV, heard from a friend, or got in a 2000’s style chain email forward.
My entire childhood was a constant stream of “no you can’t do that because it’s dangerous because I heard that….” that people were hiding in the parking lot of Wal-Marts all across the country with a bottle of “perfume” that they would jump out and spray you with. But really it was some chemical that would make you pass out, so then they could kidnap you and rape you.
I am not making that up and she was still saying it around 10 years ago, when I was like yeah we need to maybe not talk/visit as much.
Goddammit you just “proved” all of the pearl clutching Halloween-terrified parents right who obsessively dug through their kids’ candy after trick or treating because they just knew that everyone was giving out drugs and needles. Now they will feel even more justified in their stupid quest.
Was that just my mom?
Chandra Manning, a professor of history at Georgetown University, said the naming of schools after Confederate soldiers really took off in the 1950s after the government mandated that whites-only segregated schools accept black pupils, as a way to make black students feel unwelcome.
“It wasn’t a widespread trend until the Brown versus Board of Education decision in 1954, which mandated the desegregation of public schools,” she told the BBC. "And it was after that decision that the number and the frequency of schools named for Confederate generals quite dramatically and suddenly accelerated.
If your excuse for keeping this shit and the statues and everything around is “culture”, then your fucking “culture” is nothing more than just being an asshole. That’s it.
I’m sorry, OP. I come from a family like this and the best decision I made was to go away for University and make friends whose views and values aligned better with mine.
Same thing when I found a job. I “made” my own (non-biological) family, if that makes sense. I see my blood relatives at holidays and other events, say the required hellos and goodbyes, and leave when I’m ready.
I don’t have time for that shit. And I know it’s hard to see people you love behave this way, but you obviously turned out differently and that means that you can do better…and maybe even inspire some of the younger folks in your family in the process.
I’m so happy this guy doesn’t live in the US & have more destructive opportunities in life.
I’ve never seen the signs allowing you to opt out, so this is good info.
But to add onto this topic - what is up when 2 people walk down a designated walkway while in line and the officer follows alongside them with the dog?
