Three raccoons in a trench coat. I talk politics and furries.

Not sure how deeply positive it was necessarily, but as far as I can tell I changed at least one person’s life significantly.
When I was in middle school I learned how to solve the Rubik’s cube through online tutorials, and afterwards I was basically addicted to it for a while and I was messing with a cube all the time. One of my classmates was interested in learning how to solve one, so I drew a bunch of guides and taught him the terminology, and soon enough he was also hooked on the Rubik’s cube.
I eventually grew tired of it, but he kept going and learned how to solve all sorts of smaller and bigger cubes and pyramids. I bumped into him at uni a few years later and he had a cube in his hand lol. Last I heard of him he was even participating in some local competitions, but idk what he’s up to now.
Even if he ultimately gave up on his speedcubing dreams I can at least say that I introduced him to a cool new hobby that kept him entertained for several years.
Winter because I live in Brazil, which is a tropical and very humid country so the heat can get unbearable even here in the south where it’s colder compared to the north.
There are a few cities that get cold enough to reach negative Cº, but where I live it’s mostly between 10º-20º during winter so I just need some extra coats and more blankets and I’m happy. During summer I can only take off so many layers before it becomes illegal.
$15 is like 80 BRL and I don’t have a single cent to my name right now so…
Buy Minecraft, which apparently is on sale for $14.99. It’s not quite as fun when all your friends have the official version and get to play together while you’re stuck with an - *ahem* - unofficial version.
One that I really like is Dear David by Adam Ellis. And yeah yeah, I know that he’s going for the usual “true ghost story” marketing shtick or whatever, but these stories that don’t just use cheap jumpscares and instead build a sense of constant threat and impending doom are the ones that make it harder for me to sleep at night.
I heard that the movie is trash though 🙈
Capybaras are pretty common in the area where I live, and really throughout most of Brazil. Don’t get me wrong, we still think they’re pretty cute, but I’ve seen some Americans get really excited about them.
Oh, and the maned wolf. To be fair, I think they’re pretty neat too.
Although I don’t have kids everything I’ve heard about the Ruby Franke/8 Passengers case made my blood boil. That scumbag saw her kids as nothing but a way to get clicks and money, and I’m glad that she’s going to rot in prison.
And related to this, add animal abuse to the list of things that make my blood boil too. It’s wild to think that until recently there was such a thing as a thriving “monkey torture network”.
Every day spez is DIGGing himself into a deeper hole…
Step 1: Put all your money in crypto.
Step 2: Pray like hell that it’ll go up and not down.
/s in case it wasn’t obvious
Other options include:
Start a church;
Start a new religion;
Create an MLM company;
Buy some dumb stock and then try to convince r/wallstreetbets to buy it as well;
Post right-wing propaganda to YouTube and then hope the algorithm and/or some rich oil baron will notice you.

On purpose? I vaguely remember doing so once several years ago, but I don’t remember what the ad was for.
On desktop I’m at no risk of accidentally clicking on ads because I have uBlock Origin, but on mobile, more specifically on the YouTube app, I’ll occasionally accidentally tap an ad or “promoted” video.
Interesting. My body is also kinda fucked because of my bad decision to carry half my weight to school every day - now at 24 I already have a slightly hunched back and deal with back pain. I wonder if I should try some yoga…
After looking for info on Wikipedia I only found one brief mention of school shooter fandoms in the “Columbine effect” page:
Since the advent of online social media, a fandom for shooters Harris and Klebold has had a documented presence on social media sites, especially Tumblr.[86] Fans of Harris and Klebold refer to themselves as “Columbiners.”[87] An article published in 2015 in the Journal of Transformative Works, a scholarly journal which focuses on the sociology of fandoms, noted that Columbiners were not fundamentally functionally different from more mainstream fandoms. Columbiners create fan art and fan fiction, and have a scholarly interest in the shooting.[73]
The articles they link to are:

I also found another interesting study on this titled “Glamorizing rampage online: School shooting fan communities on YouTube”.
They examined the network structure and social and psychological aspects of YouTube communities centered around school shootings, finding that they form a small-world network characterized by high clustering and low density, i.e. loosely-tied subgroups of fans. They argue that this network structure promotes the dissemination of hate ideology and justifications for mass violence, and also has the potential for anti-social behavior, which is consistent with previous analyses proposed by scholars. They also note that the people in these fandoms often talk about depression and other mental health problems, and argue that providing consultation to these people could help them leave these communities and reduce the spread of hateful rhetoric - however they also argue that the current reporting system may be insufficient to deal with these groups.
Article 1 also gives some anecdotal evidence of how some of these people justify their fandom by minimizing its ties to violence:
Shotsofdylan, the same blog that posted the bit of Dylan/T.J. fanfiction above, wrote:
“People who actually think we support murderers and condone their actions are fucking idiots. If you bothered to talk to most of us, we don’t condone anything bad they ever did. And most of us are intelligent, forgiving, compassionate people who learned a lot about humanity and life through the murderers we’re interested in. Don’t talk shit about us before you get to know us. Thanks.”
In the rare occasion that I feel like talking to someone I get on Discord either to chat or VC with acquaintances or randoms from servers that I like.
Nothing too big or embarrassing, but for a while I thought “nepotism” just meant the same as “narcissism” when it’s actually about favoritism towards one’s family.
We agree. See Valmond’s comment above:
We should invest massively in longevity. Healthy longevity, fighting aging.
Plants vs. Zombies: Garden Warfare
It’s a shame that it doesn’t seem to have that many players anymore. It’s a lot like other multi-class shooter games like Overwatch and Paladins, but about three times more crazy and weird, and I had a ton of fun playing it as a teen.
I’ve heard Garden Warfare 2 is pretty good too though, so I’ll consider buying it at some point (when I have money).
