It’s all fun and games till google starts deleting gmail accounts. That is if the value of user data deflates and google’s ad-based business model fails. Which it may if some other party disrupts them. Seems likely as google lags behind in AI development. Though it may be for the best. 🤷‍♂️🤷‍♂️🤷‍♂️

Having grown up north of the arctic circle, this is a common fact of life. In mid summer, the sun never completely sets before it rises again. Blows my mind that this change are too subtle to notice closer to the equator.

Few protections, but high wages in the tech industry has gone a long way in keeping the US tech workforce fat and content.

Big media companies are made up of people. Even the best journalists are prone to making mistakes. Sensationalist stories should always be read at an arms length. And even some respectable news organisations hire viral copywriters to generate ad-views. Don’t read that shit.

But do read news from real journalistic publishers with a professional principal editor. Don’t fall into the deep end conpiracy snuff trap.
