I’ve actually had the opposite of this happen to me, I gave a figure and they offered me more. But I’ve also had this happen too when they’ve gone below what I asked.

RVs are motorhomes that have an engine, gearbox etc. Caravan is something you tow behind another vehicle.

Yep! That’s my direction of travel so that’s where I want to be looking. I’m still going to look side to side to make sure the traffic has stopped. What ends up happening, especially when it’s busy, is that the person who pressed the button stays standing next to it so you can’t see when it’s clear.

This post itself is mildly infuriating as I can’t tell what’s wrong in the picture!

Why does someone need to be home for that? Can’t they leave it outside or around the back somewhere?

If the option were another country then the Netherlands would be my choice too, probably somewhere outside Amsterdam but close enough to commute in.

Both are beautiful places! We stayed in North Wales in April for my wife’s birthday as we climbed Snowdon and it was really beautiful. One of my favourite DJs performed a set on the railway they have and you get an amazing view of the area.

I’d probably live outside the lakes though purely because of how busy it gets in summer.

I just realised I meant somewhere else in the UK but I didn’t specify that in the title!

I’d love to pick Cornwall but I know I’d be part of the problem of potentially pricing locals out. I’d probably pick somewhere in South Wales, relatively cheap, wife has family there and some beautiful areas in south west Wales.

Open the calendar on your phone. It’s Sunday.

It’s not, it’s Monday - Monday is the first day of the week here, to be honest I thought that was the same across the western world. TIL I guess!

Don’t all calendars start on Monday? I guess calendars in the Middle East might be different as their weekend days are different to those in Europe.

I have to add some jam when I have peanut butter on toast, for some reason I find it really dry.

I’ve added it to my blocked instances and I’d recommend others who have an issue with the way the communities on that instance are moderated and the way it’s managed to do the same.

Fortunately there are alternative instances and communities that are less authoritarian with their moderation.
