I used to live in a brick rowhouse, and the arched transom started to crack. I thought I’d diy repoint it myself, only to find out that a previous contractor had “fixed” it by jamming cardboard in the cracks and filled it in with caulk. Totally legit.

Can everyone please stop linking to Linus? He’s a YouTube huckster.
Thanks! I use Excalidraw occasionally, but only in light mode. Derp.
OT: What program are these diagrams made with? I’ve seen them floating around recently and really like the looks of them.
The technical term is AI slop.
Shitty billionaire has a shitty take. Shocker.
I used to pirate because I was poor back then. Now that I make a decent living I’m more than happy to pay devs for their hard work.
I worked at a lithium ion battery company for 11 years. Water won’t do it. When ruptured, a lithium ion battery goes into something called thermal runaway. You need to use CO2 fire extinguishers to cool the batteries to get the fire to stop. Otherwise, it will burn until all the energy is used up. I suppose it’s possible to use water that’s cold enough to stop the reaction, but I highly doubt it.
Just stop paying your bills.
I assumed it was, as I believe the jmp.chat folks have claimed their entire platform is open source, but I could be remembering incorrectly.
The call quality is the same as normal cell phone service as far as I can tell.
If I recall correctly, it just syncs with your local contacts, but they also get propagated across platforms. So it’s the best of both worlds.
I’ve used it for the last 3 years, and it costs money, but jmp.chat is a drop in replacement for Google voice. It has clients for all platforms, and features synchronization amongst other things. Give it a shot.

They offer SIM cards, or you can use it with any other carrier. And for the record, I’ve used visible wireless, mint mobile, cricket, and boost and they all work great. They’re just MVNO’s that ride on the big 3 carriers networks. Whatever has good coverage in your area will be fine. I haven’t used a major carrier in over 10 years.
I’ve been a jmp user for years. Love their service.
