Create a template sensor that is the opposite value of the door sensor and include that one in your auto entities instead of the door one.

One issue with shooting uncropped is that the composition will most likely take advantage of the aspect ratio you are using and not necessarily crop well. Composing the shot in the aspect ratio that you intend to display it is actually a better technique unless you are very skilled and able to imagine how you’re going to crop it in the future.

This looks great! I used Sync on Android and this looks similar. Hope to see an Android build soon.

I think the big challenge is the recommendation engine. If a service ever got popular enough to have a large set of videos there would be a need to discover them.
