Yeah but is Nix OS going to provide easy to use persistence volume manager in its live mode?
Those are like sky and land difference than what I am looking for
It seems even I have many many many things to learn still
Yes, all of that is persistence storage.
When you boot, if you choose to use persistence storage by unlocking with password, etc, all your settings, installed app, etc get loaded from it. If you dont, the distro default is set.
If you have used Tails OS, its exactly that, except not hyper focused on anonymity and security requiring Tor to be running to access the network
That and making it easy to store settings, passwords, bookmarks, etc, almost how Tails does it
Use something like SAMBA to share files between the two systems
Next up: Learn how to create .service
file, you may be able to use it from the template provided.
Then learn about target
and unit
Find these on Youtube
Tails is the closest I know

Mandrake has to be the funniest name ever
Using a database for notes is like going 2km in a plane.
You can use any relational database for this though but why would you subject yourself to this?
On Windows you can just right click and run as administrator bro
In an era where every single good code editors are built on Electron, its good to know something isnt
Maby launch editor with sudo?
These things are like corporate things and many corporate software use old version of software
My advice is to stick to a popular and well known general purpose distro. Even though I have never tried Pop os myself I would recommend it over that Brazzite thing (which has a very similar name to that one very popular video streaming site if you know) because I have heard good things about Pop os.
Sorry if my writing seems like scribbles, I am not a native English speaker.
Would that work? I will try, thanks
