1·1 month agoHow about ctrl+c to cancel and clear the command you are typing? It’s much easier because you only need 1 hand, and does not impact your shell’s history.
An ad blocker, on desktop and phone.
It blocks annoying ads and also protects you against malware (malvertisement).
Commands go from big to small category. You can think of each subcommand as a sub-category.
As a non-USA person, the existence of a four-way stop has always baffled me. I think it is the peak of awful road design. I don’t think you could make a worse intersection.
Don’t you know, the downvote button is the dislike button, on pretty much every platform. Also, upvote is agree button. They have nothing to do with whether a comment is relevant to the topic or not.

It depends on the bicycle. I can do it on some, and not on others. I think it depends on the angle of the steering fork and also the center of balance of the handlebars.
That’s really interesting. There are probably more people like you, but who will never know if nothing happens to their dominant hand.
2·5 months agoA game I play often also has EAC but it worked on linux even on launch day using steam play and proton.
Linux with wine/proton already works pretty good for running Windows programs and games outside of Windows.
6·5 months agoYeah what could go wrong when training AI on any random internet data indiscriminately. It’s all fun until the AI proposes home remedies for appendicitis.
Oh my god this is so me. I get obsessed with getting what I want, and then when I finally get it, I use it a couple times and then abandon it.
I just love all the google seach AI memes that have sprung out of this change. They’re all unhinged, but the fun thing is that you can’t tell which one is real.

Not gameplay but phone camera footage, but I always convert to h264 using a CRF of 18. CRF is like a quality factor that adjusts bitrate based on how much movement there is. Lower CRF means more quality. More modern codecs like h265 and AV1 can produce even smaller files than h264, but ofc it’s best to just do lots of tests.
