  • Capitol Reef is the most underrated national park. Go early in the morning. Get fresh bread and pies made from wheat and fruits grown right in the park.

Olympic NP is the most amazing.

Death Valley… just pass. It’s hot. It’s a bowl. It’s sand. Be like Anakin.

Joshua tree is dope, but try to go in the cooler months.

For any of them in Utah, if you’re a coffee drinker I’d recommend bringing your own packed and ready. It can be difficult finding a good cup for a while…

Glacier is easily the best we have in the country. If it was either seeing Yellowstone or Glacier I’d go Glacier.

Our NPs are so amazing. After traveling to other countries NPs it makes me cherish how special our parks are and how much better they’re treated and looked after as the park system is well staffed and looked over by people that really care. Teddy Rosevelt is a national hero.

  • In no realm does the US consider Japan, Germany, or Singapore a rival. China is the only “rival” in there. The other countries don’t have the actual quantity of people or land size to be an economic rival. At best they could have a higher standard of living based on PPP or GDP per capita, but not anything that would overtake the US. You’re trying to turn a simple evaluation tool that every government should be using on its trading partners into some maniacal weapon of economic doom. There are lots of partners in this world. Just like everyone else if you act like everyone is an enemy then all you ever see is targets.

  • A country would meet all three if it had a trade surplus with the United States of at least $15 billion, a current account surplus of at least 3 percent of gross domestic product, and if it had engaged in persistent, one-sided intervention in foreign exchange markets.

Being on the list isn’t a bad thing. You only have to have two of the three things listed in order to be on the list and any of our major trading partners would automatically be on it. It’s simply a mechanism for the US government to have reports on other economies it does business with.

  • You’re not the target then and you shouldn’t have been in a wrangler. A wrangler is a body on frame, solid front and rear axel vehicle. It’s going to naturally ride like dog shit, and the materials on the interior are shit because they’re made to get dirty and be washed out (literally with a hose) and have the top off with the California sun beating on them 24/7. The usability is awful for the same reason. Everything is water resistant and built for off road use.

Space… well that’s because it’s body on frame. They’ve always been awful at usable interior space due to that.

Lastly, they’re expensive because literally no one else makes a body on frame SUV with a solid rear axel, let alone a solid front too. Those pieces also cost a ton to keep legally on the road and they have to purchase carbon credits just to certify them.
