I too don’t know what this means. After much searching I believe this could be a reference to the whirling dervishes of Sufism. More likely than dowsing in my opinion.

Where were you in '91? You could have won Randi’s prize! wikipedia on Dowsing
nose hair trimmer attachment works well around the ears I’ve found (but it’s loud!)
cold cuts? Have you seen the price of a bag of chips? Ridiculous. I don’t need to spend 5 bucks to hate myself later after I’ve eaten too many.
$30 to buy an old mechanical pencil on ebay you remember having in highschool? No problemo.
DOJ wants to get in on some of that hot euro DMA action
your self driving car will just drive itself back to the lot when your payment is late
I don’t disagree with anything you say. I think it’s worth mentioning that the cost of enforcement directly informs the cost of a lease/rental situation. The cheaper they can enforce the contract, the less they can theoretically charge. If they had to get a court order to lock your phone or repo your car, they’d make it more expensive or be much more selective about who they lease/rent to. This maybe enables more people to have phones or get cars?
I swear I’m not rooting for team “aggressive manipulative business behavior widens opportunities for the less well off”. Gross. Kind of how I hear about globalization of manufacturing stuff - “they get paid pennies!” “yeah, but that’s more than before the factory came? look what they can buy now” I know that’s a overly broad generalization but you see those arguments.
hypothetically cool, and very hypothetically legal
that’s a no on the cruciform for me, dawg. Yeesh. I’ll take everything else from there though, Poulsen, hawking drive, farcasters (maybe without the yoke of the AI techno core though), etc.
The article explains it as tagging your own cells in your body with a marker that makes the immune system ignore them. Doesn’t seem like a foreign body encountered sporadically would work. Allergies and autoimmune (like CL IV celiac) are different classifications of hypersensitivity with different mediating mechanisms. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hypersensitivity
I mean, it’s making it to human trials so seems a lot more real than most of these “kills cancer cells in a petri dish” sort of things.
I mean, maybe? I’ve used group texts with every sms client on every android smartphone I’ve ever used. Don’t know how it works on the backend.
Group chats work over SMS. I use cloud links for large files or just SMS/MMS for pictures and you just live with the low quality if texting with an iPhone user.
Samsung messages has Google’s RCS implementation and E2EE, too.
Depends on the rest of the map. These are usually set up so the rings mean a certain consistent difference in elevation, say 1ft of 10ft. You don’t normally change the spacing partway through the map. If the intervals were 10ft and this was a 20ft peak then you’d obviously have fewer rings than if the intervals were 1ft.
one with wheels on it, right? Maybe important to note
They still can’t come up with anything other than “it’s not safe!” And “you’re so irresponsible”?
Previous articles on this say the water is less contaminated than that which comes out of some of China’s plants.
This article: IAEA says 10,000 becquerels per liter is the safe limit. Japan’s output will be 63 per liter.
LOL I’m sure the depiction of what someone could look like after years of working from home, created/paid for by a work furniture company, is totally accurate.
gonna find some merry men and get a band going!
