I’ve played a bit of Tales and Tactics this week. It’s a single player roguelike auto-battler made by some Slay the Spire mod developers.
I’ve also started playing Into the Breach on the SteamDeck. This is my second time trying to get into it. For some reason the first time I found it too hard so this time I started with a couple of runs on easy to ease myself in to it.
I would love to have the ability to know for any journey, no matter how complex, what time I need to leave to arrive on time.
When I was a kid, having these mean I was on holiday in a chalet or static caravan on the Yorkshire coast.
You could also use one of those water pick things that use a pressurised water jet to clean between your teeth. After I started using one regularly my dentist even remarked on how much better my gums were looking.
I have a really shitty SCP idea based on this concept
A good response. Civlised and to-the-point.
There’s no reason to do that with an electric motor (as far as I know). It would only reduce the efficiency. Maybe it’s something that the car enthusiasts could get on board with though?
I live in a country where manual transmission is the default. I drive a manual and I’m fine with it. This idea of fake manual transmission is bizarre to me. Who is it for? Car enthusiasts will know it’s fake and avoid it and surely your average driver will not care and would actually appreciate the simplicity of automatic transmission.
A great book but I don’t know if I’d recommend it as a “get into reading” book.
