Never have been to a school that had them.
Never have been to a school that had them.
What do you mean by blocking system?
It is not the norm, it is becoming the norm.
How so? This was much more common in the past. It’s become much less of the norm since we have international instituations like the UN.
Nothing to shrug about, it is quite distopian.
right, but this isn’t !aboringdystopia@lemmy.world. And I don’t think it’s onion-y.
And how is Hezbollah not a local military? As far as I know, they have existed before the Iranian revolution.
They are funded by and acting in the interest of Iran. But it wouldn’t really change anything if they were local. It still means the government is only partially in control of the country.
Not really onion-y.
Lebanon literally has a foreign paramilitary group with considerabily political power controlling part of it’s territory, so they are arguable not a fully sovereign state. And in the end statehood is not a clear definied concept and what really matter is recognition from other states. A state not recognition another for poltical reasons is not really something strange or absurd. That’s pretty much the norm.
After I had two WD drives fail in my old NAS so I switched to all Seagate on my next build. Currently running 9x 20TB Exos X20, though for only about a year now, so no issues should be expected, yet.
I think the most important thing is that you pick a drive that is meant for NAS/server use (so rated for running 24/7). And having manufacturere warrenty is also nice. My Seagate drives have 60 months (which is considerably more then the 36 months that my WD drives had).
Either way, I don’t approve of vandalism against random objects as a form of protest. How much damage was caused is is relevant for sentencing, not the principle.
No art was damaged because the protective meassure in place to protect against vandalism, worked. It’s still vandalism.
You basically just went from “This didn’t happen” to “It’s not vandalism” to “It shouldn’t be considered vandalism”. I don’t think I’m the one that should consider changing their opinion here.
See my initial comment.
People have literally been convicted for it. You should try moving your goal posts back to reality.
Depends on their actions. Those that just vandalize random art or monuments that have nothing to do with climate change can fuck right off.
Peppers.
Bist because the idea is older doesn’t make it any less weird.
VERWÄHLT! <hangs up>.

Full Episode on the official channel. But it’s geoblocked in locations where it’s officially availible on paid sources. But you can watch it from France or the Czech Republic (just some examples I know of) with a VPN.
The main segment will be on the official channel (without geoblock) on thursday (I think).
So you watched John Oliver last night?
What an amazing insight.
